Aimed at physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists, this online event is designed to provide therapists with the information they need when assessing for, and writing an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP. Patricia Terrer-Perez, MScOT and Designated Clinical Officer/ Consultant and Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist

Patricia has extensive first-hand experience of SEND Law and Integrated Care Boards policy. Currently, DCOs are best placed to understand the complexities across the educational, health and care systems, in order to maximise the impact of teams and professionals to meet the needs of children and young people with SEND at operational and strategic levels. In addition, Patricia has worked as a Clinical Specialist in the UK Healthcare system; as an ‘Expert Witness’ in SEND Tribunals for over 10 years, engaging with Local Authorities and parents to secure effective levels of provision to support and as a lecturer at Brunel University London and Coventry University, in the BSc, MSc and apprenticeship OT programmes.
