Professor Iona Novak PhD, MSc (Hons), BApp Sc Occupational Therapy has co-authored more than 180 publications and has been awarded over $60 million in competitive grant funding. She has won the Elsass Foundation Research Prize, colloquially known as the Nobel Prize for Cerebral Palsy and Australia Day Council Local Woman of the Year award. Iona spearheads a network that accelerates bench-to-bedside stem cell research, an initiative commenced through her Fulbright Scholarship. The network conducted Australia’s first-ever human stem cell clinical trial for cerebral palsy. 

Professor Novak will present this on-line interactive course which will include video case studies and problem-based learning, allowing you to practice your clinical reasoning skills and intervention planning skills to optimise care for the families you work with.
